David suggested that I could look at this issue of Eye Magazine. Joost Grootens has some really nice delicate maps done. He uses embroidery on the maps, which was something that I did consider at the beginning.

interesting infographics on the different aspects of wine
don’t understand a word on this poster (but the power of visuals would give a brief understanding) but I like how they’ve represented different countries as people and the depth of the tunnels/holes they’re in to indicate the percentage.
