Type Directors Club Annual Exhibition branding design done by Taiwanese design Ken-Tsai Lee.
final wayfinding system for my exhibition design.
I’ve designed the numbers the same way I’ve done for the logo, numbers are cut up and distorted slightly, but still legible to direct people around the exhibition.
some illustrated floor plan to show how the exhibition looks like.
Lynch’s furniture pieces will be placed around the gallery (Zone 1 & 4), and in the two tunnels of the gallery (Zone 2 & 3), his short films will be played by projecting them onto the walls of the rooms. Lynch’s Ergonomic cinema chairs and wire chairs will also be placed in these two areas, so people can sit down and enjoy the short film.
Motion sensing lights will be used to lit up the information labels in these two areas so as to minimise disturbance to the film viewing.
Looked at some exhibition design books from the library.
Thought some of the exhibitions are kinda how I want mine to be, especially the lighting design.
I also quite like the size of the book, might use the measurement for my process book.
